Is this a full chess game?
MateCrown focuses on chess puzzles: find the sequence that ends in checkmate. It is not a full-match chess app or an online multiplayer game.
Do I need an account?
No MateCrown account is needed. Your puzzle progress and preferences are saved locally on your watch. Apple handles any in-app purchase through your Apple Account.
Can I use it without an iPhone nearby?
Yes. Once installed, MateCrown’s built-in puzzles can be played on your Apple Watch without an iPhone nearby or an internet connection.
